Peter tells us of Hope
1 Peter 1:1-5
Pete writes his first Epistle, His first letter, and in this letter he writes to the strangers scattered throughout ...and he lists the places.
1. We have a lively hope
1Pe_1:3
He now telling the believers the encouragement to what we are saved to
1Pe_1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
When we were begotten, we were begotten, or born again unto a lively hope.
Ephesians 2:1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;
2. We have a hope that will go to the end
1Pe_1:13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
Keep that hope in the Lord Jesus that we have until the day the Lord calls us to heaven to be with Him.
Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
This hope will keep us from going astray.
3. Our hope is to be in God to raise us up.
1Pe_1:21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
This third time Peter uses the word Hope, to help us to hold a healthy hope.
We know we Jesus was raised from the dead, and there will come a day, when he will raise us up from the dead. Will you be ready
Our hope is the reason for our answer

1Pe_3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
And always be ready to give an answer of the hope that is in you.

- Our 2026 Missions conference held in March was successful with Pastor J. Cabajar being the guest speaker.
- The Lord enabled us to hear the word of God with the power of the Holy Ghost.
- We are thankful the Lord Jesus helped us in our vision to win souls, for Jesus has called us all to tell the world how He is a wonderful Saviour.
