Sunday Morning
For this reason New Testament churches should meet on Sunday morings to rejoice in the Resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to look forward to the Lord Jesus Christ coming in the clouds to snatch away the Believers.
1Co 16:1-2 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. (2) Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
The day that the first churches met as the most important day to meet was on the first day of the week, this was Sunday. This was the day that the collection for the saints was taken. The reason why the churches in the begining met on the first day of the week, it was to be in commemoration of the chief corner stone, Jesus Christ having risen fom the grave on the first day of the week.

Missions Conference
- Mark 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
- Jesus was speaking to the disciples before He ascended to heaven, and gave them the command to Go Ye into all the world
- This was a personal command to them to Go
- they were to get out of where they were an go to where people are, that is all the world.
- All people need the Lord Jesus Christ, and the way they are going to hear about the Lord Jesus Christ, is when those who are saved, go to someone in the world and tell them the gospel of the Lord Jeus.
- He said: Preach the gospel - this is to proclaim the good news of the Lord Jesus, Death on the cross, the payment for sin by his shed blood, and then the burial in the tomb for 3 days and 3 nights, then His glorious resurrection from the dead.
- Jesus is the only one who said follow me, who gave his life for those who choose to follow him, and then rise again from the dead.
- With His resurrection from the dead, He ascended to heaven. This means, the Lord Jesus Christ is still alive today.
- With this verse of Mark 16:15 we at Moreton Bay Baptist Church are having our annual missions conference.
- This will be on Friday 14th of March at 7 pm
- Then Saturday 15th of March at 2 pm, with a finger food lunch following
- Then Sunday Morning 16th of March at 10 am. with a lunch after.
- The guest speaker is Pastor Jonathan Edwards from Friendship Baptist church in Mount Crosby.
- Pastor Edwards Has faithfully pastored Friendship Baptist Church for many years.

- With the thought, we are to go into all the world to preach the gospel.
